Production Study Guides

"Dance, as we know, has the capability to transcend barriers such as language. Dance movement is real, it’s live and children find it fascinating to experience another 'language' with a rich cultural history. And, even more provocative, to discover its impact on our everyday world and lives."

– Teacher, Cheltenham Elementary

Colorado Ballet offers complementary resources and activity guides, addressing Colorado's Model Content Standards for Education in a variety of core subject areas, for each production. Also, please find our health and self-esteem guide for elementary school students, "I Am Happy and Healthy," and our comparative history of ballet timeline, which juxtaposes important moments in ballet history with what was going on in Literature, Art, Music, Politics, and Science. Some study guides are presented in bi-lingual format (English and Spanish).
