Performance Opportunities
Showcases
Fully registered Academy students may participate in the annual showcase performances. Participation requires a production fee.
Winter Concert
Advanced level Ballet Program students and Competition Ensemble members may participate in the Winter Concerts. The concerts feature choreography from local and guest choreographers in ballet, jazz, hip-hop tap and lyrical. Participation requires a production fee.
Competition Ensemble
The Academy fields a competition dance ensemble that performs at numerous events during the year. Dancers audition to join the Ensemble. The Competition Program provides the training necessary for participation. Ensemble dancers must pay a monthly fee that covers all participation costs in mandatory events. Ensemble activities are extracurricular to training.
Colorado Ballet Productions
Fully registered students have the opportunity to audition for or be selected for productions of the Colorado Ballet. Most notably, the annual production of The Nutcracker features a large number of Academy dancers. Audition information is posted on the Academy bulletin boards. Participation requires a production fee.
