Before the world is their stage, they train right here in Colorado.
Founded over 30 years ago by one of the nation’s leading ballet companies, the Academy of Colorado Ballet continues to thrive as a true professional training ground. Utilizing the famed Vaganova method of ballet training, the Academy has honed the dance skills of thousands of students, as well as started the careers of many professional dancers. In addition to ballet, the Academy offers expert training in jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern and more. Academy students are given opportunities few schools can offer, including exceptionally qualified instruction and opportunities to perform with Colorado Ballet.
The Academy provides training to students age three through adult, beginner through professional. Academy students have been recognized for their abilities with awards and scholarships in local, regional and national competitions. The Academy provides the highest quality dance training to all students in a professional environment. The Academy offers two locations for convenience; Central Academy in downtown Denver and South Academy in Centennial.
